msmetools is operated by Sumeet Yadav (msmetools), Goa, India (“we”, “us”). By accessing or using msmetools.com you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

msmetools provides free business tools (calculators and document generators), compliance and information articles, and a technology-centre directory for general information. The site is free to use and requires no account. You agree to use it in accordance with these terms and all applicable laws.

Favourites, history and saved documents are stored only in your browser’s local storage on your device. We do not hold a copy, so we cannot recover them if your browser data is cleared or the device is lost. Keep your own copies of anything important.

You agree not to use our services for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could harm the site, its users or third parties. In particular, you must not:

• Generate fraudulent invoices, receipts or official-looking documents
• Scrape, overload or attempt to disrupt the service
• Misrepresent msmetools as a government body or official portal
• Use content you do not have the right to use (for example, someone else's logo)

The msmetools name, software and original content are owned by us. Images are used under their open licences (such as CC0, CC BY, CC BY-SA or the Unsplash licence) with credits recorded. Documents you create with our generators belong to you, including any business details and logos you add.

We offer a digital lead-generation service for small businesses (see Grow your business).

• The initial consultation is free and creates no obligation on either side.
• Paid work is carried out only under a separate written agreement that sets out the lead targets, the agreed period, the fees and our commitment. If that agreement conflicts with these terms, the agreement applies to the paid work.
• Our commitment: if the written lead target is not reached in the agreed period, we continue working on the campaign at no extra service fee until it is reached. Advertising budget for any extended period is agreed with you in advance.
• Advertising spend paid to Google, Meta or other platforms is paid to those platforms, not to us.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of the free site, including decisions made based on calculator results or article content.

We link to government portals, official sources and other third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content, products or policies.

We may update these terms and will revise the “Last updated” date when we do. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of Goa, India have jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law in your country provides otherwise.
